Independence Day Celebration – Colonial Williamsburg

Food, entertainment and reserved seating for the fireworks. Featuring a come-and-go buffet dinner at the Williamsburg Lodge and entertainment by The Jangling Reinharts.

Childrens’ games and activities on the lawn.

A cash bar will be open at 4 p.m.

Fifes and drums will lead attendees to their seats on Palace Green at 7:15 p.m. for the fireworks show.

Guests are invited to use white glow sticks to light up the night during the fireworks. Glow sticks are part of the Independence Day Souvenir Bags for purchase that also include a blanket, two refillable mugs and two hand-held flags. Market stands will be available throughout The Revolutionary City to purchase cold lemonade, pretzels, frozen treats, cookies and refillable mugs.

10 a.m. Salute to the States behind the Courthouse
11 a.m. Reading of the Declaration of Independence on Courthouse steps
11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Colonial Faire at various locations including tomahawk throwing, cannons, drills, 3-legged races, quoits, and crafts (admission ticket required)
5 – 9 p.m. Historic Tavern dining available
Reservations required
7:30 – 8:30 p.m. Colonial Williamsburg Fifes and Drums Perform
9:10 p.m. Salute to the Nation: A special tribute to our Armed Forces
9:30 p.m. Fireworks begin

Free parking in the Colonial Williamsburg Regional Visitor Center parking lot. Buses free on July 4.
